Wish List

Most Non-Profit Organizations will have a wish list of items they need and they depend on donations to help purchase these items. These needed items will frequently be listed on their websites. You can also look at the list below and purchase donation items. Purchasing items to donate is also a great way to get your foot in the door at any organization! For example: Almost every non-profit needs work gloves. If you purchase a few pairs of gloves and then deliver them to the organization you can ask questions about what they do and they may even offer you a tour of their facility. Non-Profits love to show off the work they are doing for the community! When you do deliver your donation this gives you the perfect opportunity to ask if they need more donations and you can bring up the fact that you need some community service hours. Ask them if you can get some hours for donating some of the items they currently need. Even if they say no, you may still be able to volunteer and get some hours.
